My son is 10 years old and he has been taking violin lessons with Danielle for more than one year. Danielle is very patient and resourceful teacher. My son said he feels very comfortable to ask Danielle questions and she always gives him a variety of songs to keep him interested. On the admin side, Danielle communicates very well with me. She updates me with my son's progress periodically. Also she is very responsive with schedule changes. Therefore, I highly recommend Danielle as a violin teacher.

I started out with no prior experience with the violin, she made it easy for me to learn and has helped me a lot along the process. She has helped me with bow grip, properly tuning the violin as well as helping me through songs like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. She is a great teacher and makes it fun to learn how to play the violin.

I am an older student that has come back to the violin after about a 30 year break. I've had several experiences with teachers, and know that it can be difficult to find a good match. There are lots of wonderful violin players out there, but not all of them are good teachers. Danielle is patient, listens well to my own goals and desires with the violin, and brings a very positive attitude. Danielle makes sure to keep me at a good pace so that I learn well what I'm working with her on, and changes up our lessons to keep me motivated to practice. She pays attention to the things I need work on with very specific instruction, and gives me good advice on how to hear what I'm doing well. I've absolutely seen improvement with my playing, something I was not sure would actually happen after such a long break! I highly recommend Danielle as a teacher.

The music was beautiful and perfect for our wedding event. My wife loved everything that was played and the music during cocktail hour kept our guests relaxed and happy.

Danielle is very patient with my boy. Her skill is quite impressive as well. My boy admires her and wants to play like her one day.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I teach kids and adults how to play violin and viola at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Lessons include the basics of music, such as rhythm, note-reading, and technique, plus important skills such as listening and music theory. I also help with audition and performance preparation. Depending on your needs, lessons range from half hour to an hour long, and are most beneficial if done on a weekly basis.
