Seat of the pants productions is great I feel like maureen and her husband work together to capture moments on video that otherwise I would have not been able to afford. I feel like they were very professional and always showed up on time they kept things light and worked well with my photographer which is important. I was very excited to see my dvd. the trailer of my wedding was perfect but I wish some of the more raw footage was edited slightly more but Im sure that most people would enjoy the footage as is. overall I rate maureen as outstanding because I really feel like seat of the pants productions more than met my expectations and I know that I already have some friends that are considering them to do their weddings after watching the dvd. I feel like after you talk with her and see some footage of the work they have done the quality speaks for itself.

I highly recommend Seat of the Pants Productions. From the minute I contacted them for our wedding videographer, I was impressed. Communication was clear throughout the entire process and they were friendly, personable, engaging, and very knowledgeable. My dad and I had taken private dance lessons for our father daughter dance and knew that we had to capture it on film. Im so happy we chose Maureen and Jim as one of our vendors. Words cannot express how thankful I am to these two! Not only did they capture our dance, but they filmed precious moments that I shared with my dad throughout my wedding day, which still makes me tear up every time I watch it. They also arrived a day early and attended our rehearsal and dinner. It was important to me for them to meet our family and friends who were going to be a part of our wedding day. During our rehearsal Maureen suggested a great place for our first look and we even practiced it after our rehearsal was over. Jim and Maureen were the first vendors to arrive on our wedding day and the last ones to leave. The video they produced is high quality and our day was beautifully captured. They truly went above and beyond my expectations. My husband and I loved all of the messages from our family and friends who viewed the video. The best part was they made extra copies so we were able to give them to our family who werent able to attend our wedding. We are so thrilled that we invested in not only a videographer, but with Seat of the Pants Productions. Thank you so much for creating a lasting memory for us that we will cherish for years to come. Maureen and Jim did an awesome job as our wedding videographers. They came to our rehearsal at the Church two days before to test the lighting so everything would be perfect for shooting our video. They were very professional to work with and showed up early for the beginning of our day. They captured our day very well and highlighted the most important parts which for us was our wedding ceremony and they also got great footage at our reception. My husband who is very camera shy appreciated working with them because they blended in with the background and captured everything as it was naturally happening, they never asked us to pose. I felt at total ease having them as my videographers because they have so much experience and they never bothered me with anything that day. Our wedding highlight video was amazing! It is the perfect sum of our day in 5 minutes which is helpful when you want to show your friends, co-workers and family who don't have 2 hours to watch the longer version. Both Maureen and Jim was with us from the beginning of our day at my 9 am hair appointment until 8:45 pm when I tossed my bouquet of flowers. They were flexible on staying a little bit past the time we discussed because they honor how hard it is stay on track with your wedding day schedule. The quality of the video is beyond my expectations and looks very professional and high quality HD. The sound was great too because you can hear our wedding vows exchanged very clearly which was very important to us. The rest of the footage has decent sound so you can catch what people are saying but nobody was miked for that part. The longer version of the wedding video itself is a little choppy meaning it doesn't flow as natural and lacks transitions from one scene to the next, but overall it captures our day very well and I think every wedding video is bound to be like that because there is so much going on in one day with lots of different people involved! I strongly recommend Maureen and Jim at Seat of the Pants Productions because they have outstanding, high quality work and you can trust them to give you a great product for you wedding video!

Jim and Maureen were awesome! I love my trailer as well as the others on the site. They captured moments I will forever cheerish. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly learning about the latest trends, techniques and equipment available to add that special touch to our finished product.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We do weddings and all sorts of special events. We also do music videos such as the "12th Man Bring the Noise" video that we produced for the Bob Rivers Show on KJR. Last year we produced a documentary on a project that the Gig Harbor Rotary Club is doing in the women's prison.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The Rotary Clubs of Gig Harbor Star of the Year Awards. We work on this project every year.
