Over the past seven years I have taught over 2,000 students one-on-one. I have maintained an average student load of over 80+ each week. Some of my students have gone on to record albums, single and demos of their own music, shoot music videos, and perform on stages across the Northwest. Others have set goals of being able to gain the confidence to play in front of friends round the campfire or with family. No matter what your goals are, I can help you get there!
My one-on-one training will guide you through the obstacles. I will help you to transition between chords smoothly, improve your posture to get rid of the strain in your wrists, neck, and shoulders. Whether you play acoustic or electric, bass guitar or ukulele you will soon be playing your favorite songs with ease!

Joshua has been extremely accommodating of my busy schedule. He has excellent knowledge of guitars and was very helpful in picking out my new guitar. Tried various YouTube tutorials but the lessons were uninformative and lacked growth potential. Very affordable and Josh's knowledge of music theory and even sound design helps you understand not only how to play but how people hear music. He can teach any age at any ability (or lack thereof). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flat monthly rates starting at $200/month for half hour lessons and $400/month for full hour lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At our first lesson, the student and I assess his or her current ability. Together we create personal goals and develop a roadmap to achieve those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was privately tutored for five years with a college professor of classical and jazz guitar.
I have a Degree in Audio Engineering and Music Production. Course materials included, piano, music theory, music composition, live sound, and studio recording.
I have written and produced numerous singles, demos, and full length albums for musicians in the Spokane area.
