FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the level of care, preparation, and intention I bring to every shoot. I use multiple professional cameras and a selection of prime lenses to ensure clarity, consistency, and that gentle bokeh — the kind that makes the background melt and puts the focus exactly where it belongs. I don’t just take a photo and move on — I work each moment deliberately, sometimes capturing it from three different perspectives or lighting setups, then refining it in post to make sure the emotion and energy come through. I treat each frame like it matters — because it does. Quotes are based on your specific needs: location, time, travel, and any extras like prints or special edits. No vague packages. No surprise fees. Just transparent pricing for real work, done right. If you’re looking for someone who will show up fully prepared, fully present, and fully invested in getting it right, that’s what I bring.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation. I meet with each couple to go over the details of the day — the venue, timing, key attendees, and the energy you want to capture. We’ll discuss your priorities: the must-have shots, important people, and any moments that absolutely matter to you. From there, we build a loose timeline and a personalized shot list — not just staged portraits, but real moments you’ll want to remember. We’ll map out when and where those photos can happen naturally throughout the day, so nothing feels rushed or forced. My goal is to make sure we’re aligned before I ever lift a camera — so when the day arrives, you can stay present while I stay focused on capturing it all.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over 20 years of hands-on photography experience, paired with 30 years in IT and digital editing — so you're not just getting someone who knows how to shoot, but someone who understands how to finish an image with precision. I typically work solo or with an assistant, depending on the event size, but every shot goes through me. From behind the lens to the final edit, I bring technical mastery, artistic intent, and the experience to handle everything from tricky lighting to tight timelines. Whether it’s stills or video, I’ve spent decades working with digital tools to get the most out of every frame — and I know how to deliver clean, timeless results you’ll be proud to share and revisit.
