We offer completely personalized and organic music lessons that allow the student to truly grasp the concepts of music at their own rate. My wife, Ayel, and I work together to provide the best fit for any student. Typically beginner level students (or those who would prefer to work with a female instructor) will work with her until they are skilled enough to move over to advanced theory/soloing/guitar lessons. There is nothing more important to me than the spread of music. I have been studying and teaching music since I was 9 years old and it has been a life long dream to teach, few things can even come close to my love for teaching music.

I am so happy that we found Chris ! He knows his stuff . He is SO very patient with my 6 year old daughter . We originally went it for guitar lessons but my daughter gravitated towards the piano . I am really pleased with the lesson plans . He is funny , talented and all around a wonderful music instructor ! If I had the time I would take lessons with him too .

Chris us helping to sing and play songs. I wasn't sure I would be able to find anyone who knows a lot of country and blues but Chris knows lots of my favorite songs like pride and joy, midnight rider, and others. He's for a great set of helpful exercises to get me where I need to be.

My son is both left-handed and Autistic, which means he has just a few extra considerations when learning new skills. He's been so excited to learn to play piano, and Chris was very warm and understanding from the very start. He seems to know just how to communicate with my son without going over his head or treating him (my son) as if he isn't a person with his own thoughts and feelings. We felt very comfortable and Chris definitely knows his stuff. We look forward to many more lessons!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normal Rates are as follows: -Advanced Lessons w/Chris- $45 for a half-hour lesson $55 for a forty-five minute lesson $65 for an hour lesson -Beginner Lessons w/Ayel- $35 for a half-hour lesson $45 for a forty-five minute lesson $55 for an hour lesson (all pricing is for lessons online only, any lessons taken in my home office will have an additional $5 fee) Discounts are offered to students who are genuinely serious, have consistent and good attendance, and/or buy lessons in bulk If you work with us, we will work with you
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free first lesson, much like an interview so that we can explain our process in detail, learn your goals and ambitions with music, and help you set benchmarks for yourself. We then personalize a lesson plan for you that shifts with your learning style and speed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates in Arts and Music, and am currently furthering my education towards a bachelor's degree in music composition. That is coupled with over 12 years of musical performance.
