FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can be tricky as there are a lot of factors going into each project that can change the work and hours required including the fact that you likely have budget of your own. A starting point for pricing is $75/hr or $500/day. Some projects are easier to bill with a project cost which can vary anywhere from $500 - $10k or higher. No two projects are the same in time required, gear needed, travel accommodated for, depth of the editing, or the number of team members called for. Upfront communication and a detailed overview of the project will help us come up with a budget that works for you and a cost that is held to all while delivering a video that meets expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- The client and I connect with a broad overview of the project to see if we are a good fit for each other. - We then meet in person or via video call to get to know each other better, cover project details and goals, team members required on both the client and capture side, delivery timeframe, scheduling, budget and cost, and setting realistic expectations. It's not uncommon for addressing these items to cover multiple meetings depending on project size - Communication is kept open and constant before and during the project to keep everyone on the same page and address any changes. - Filming begins at a pace and with an attitude that will help deliver a film the client is excited to see and share with others. Appropriate prep work and understanding the clients vision are crucial in creating a great film.
