FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $200 to give a project estimate, take measurements, and supply a quantity quote to order wallpaper. This is the fee regardless of whether you are looking for those items or not. Should you accept the project estimate, the $200 would be credited toward the total project price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Schedule a $200 project visit which includes estimate, measurements, and wallpaper order quantities (can be applied toward job if estimate is accepted). 2) Respond to emailed or texted estimate of acceptance or refusal. 3) If estimate is accepted, we will eSign a full contract and client will pay half labor and full materials (does not include wallpaper which clients will be responsible for ordering, purchasing, and supplying). 4) We will agree upon a start date (in the majority of cases, this date will be dictated by delivery of wallpaper order, if applicable) and all other details will have been shared within the signed contract. 5) Success!! You're going to love how your space looks fresh and new- and I'm going to love making it happen :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My mother in law has been in the painting and wallpaper business since the 1970s. When we met, I was 17 and for 30 years, I've been working alongside her in the family business (off and on). She taught me everything I know in this trade and she has an impeccable reputation. She recently retired and I have had the pleasure to continue her work.
