With almost 40 years in performance as a concert pianist, accompanist, as well as collaborating with other instrumentalists, I would love to make your special event come to life with elegant live piano music.
PIANIST, ACCOMPANIST and DIGITAL RECORDINGS - I play for weddings, and special events, as a solo pianist and also work with instrumentalists and vocalists.
As an accompanist, I have had the opportunity and experience to work with all types of instrumentalists, as well as vocalists and choirs, ranging from middle school, high school, College and professionals, with some placing 1st place in WA state competitions. I am also available to record any piano accompaniment parts for your instrumental or vocal pieces. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee for a wedding ceremony is $250, which includes music as guests arrive, and the ceremony. My fee is $175/hr for receptions, parties, and special events. Minimum of 2 hrs. If it is 1 hr only, we will discuss cost and travel. I offer a discount if it is more than 2 hrs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with the customer, I try to accommodate any special song requests or music they would like to have played at their venue: whether it is a bride that has a special song for the wedding, or if it is a particular venue that has a theme or just any specific requests. I will always try to find a mix of songs according to their preferences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Music Degree in Performance and have performed extensively. Performances include: classical concerts in concert halls, piano duos, piano trio, collaborating with other musicians, choirs, Church Sacred and Worship pianist, performance with orchestra, musical theater, wedding venues, outdoor venues, restaurant/bars, department store pianist, and Holiday/birthday parties and at assisted living facilities. I like to incorporate a wide variety of styles of music.
