FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $70 an hour min of 2 hours typically plus travel fee anything more than 25 miles from my home for face painting. This is my base price but depending on time of year/season, prices can fluctuate with possible discounts during the wintertime vs summertime. Or length of time can always be discussed!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to discuss what your event/party is for and when. How many people you're thinking will want to be painted. etc... After if you choose to hire me, I have a contract I ask you to fill out prior to the event with a deposit to be paid as well. Pretty simple. You can either pay via cash, check, PayPal or c card with my square one reader.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an artist my whole life specializing in abstract landscape/nature with paint, mixed media on canvas/ wood or really any hard surface. Also love making unique signs using wood or old windows. Along with all those things, I also enjoy refurbishing old furniture into new works of art. I try to do it all, if I can. I went to University of Wisconsin for a few years studying in the Arts. 2018 will now be my 3rd year in business as a face painter but have been painting faces roughly 10 years. Looking into enrolling in a professional face painting school this year.
