- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have standard square foot or per fixture pricing for most of the items we complete. These prices have been developed over the years based on our costs to complete the subject work being quoted. We have reviewed our pricing against national pricing guides and books and are typically in the "middle" of the pricing ranges for the items we complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the project, but our typical process is to meet with the customer to obtain plans or measure up the project and review the customer's needs. From there we will work up a quote with "budgeted material costs" included unless the customer is going to supply their own materials. If they decide to go with us for the project we will then finalize material selections and schedule the job to be completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We attend industry trade shows and often have classes/training with product suppliers/manufacturers on proper use and installation of certain products. This is in addition to the state and federal required training to keep our licenses and registrations valid.
