Introduction

My work stands out from others is because of my design background. I went to a school that focused on the design first then if it met specific code requirements. I have always been taught, Do not limit your creativity. What I like most is that I am able to help someone make their space feel like home.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to be creative and help people. My first career path was being a doctor but I am not able to separate myself from the patient whether it be a person or animal. Then when I was a senior at Mukwonago High School, I took a Interior Design class and was hooked. I chose to go to MIAD because their Interior program was also apart of the Architectural program. Since going to MIAD I have been able to help people in different ways. The most rewarding has been participating with Habitat for Humanity and also design a green home for them.
