Bulldog Builders did a great job on our turret repair. We had a bad leak on a very steep roof that met up at the turret. Bulldog Builders scheduled our repair very quickly, to avoid more damage to our home (we had water leaking down walls upstairs from snow melt) and the job was expertly finished in 1 day. They have an expert staff that went above and beyond to help out our family. Bulldog Builders were polite, friendly and professional, they were punctual and did a great job on our repair. They had to remove old shake and asphalt shingles, as well as a bad patch job with rotted metal and wood. They did a custom roof repair to angle water from the trouble spot where water was pooling, using quality materials to complete the job, which came with an excellent warranty. We are extremely happy with the job that was done by bulldog builders, and will call for future projects on our home.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. This is my first house and the roof needed replacing immediately. There was water coming in through the ceiling and walls. I was furious at the home inspector ("well the bowl [in the attic] was dry when we saw it..."), scared about being a homeowner and living alone in the city, and didn't know a thing about finding reputable contractors. Enter Jason. He showed up, we hit it off immediately, and he gave it to me straight. Unlike some of the other bidders, he didn't resort to scare tactics or sweet talk and flattery- much appreciated. He answered all my questions, discussed all the pros and cons of various shingles, venting systems, and materials, and was overall amazing. I feel like the price was very fair, and I got a great deal. The crew very carefully moved flower pots and bird feeders out of the way, swept up all debris (including on my neighbor's yard!) and carted away all the old shingles for recycling. Not only is it a major relief to have a solid roof over my head, but I feel 100% confident in the job and will absolutely be calling them again if I need any repairs or remodeling!

Jason and his team of professionals guided me through the roof repair every step of the way. I live in VA yet purchased a home in Milwaukee for my mom. I reached out to Bulldog Builders, when I got to Milwaukee Jason was very punctual. A true people’s person-Jason was honest and upfront about how bad my roof was-no sugar coating. He assured me that he would take care of my roof and my mom wouldn’t have to worry. While back in VA, Jason and his team started to repair in the middle of December (its cold outside) yet he and his team were committed to ensuring that my mother would have a stable roof over her head. Once that was all done, Jason assisted with filing the insurance claim. A well rounded professional-thank you Jason and your team for the hard work during the bitter cold to ensure my family was taken care of.

I have nothing but praise on how my roof replacement was handled by this company! Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and personable in all of our dealings. Their crew was excellent and the work was quality. Everything was completed in a timely manner, with no problems whatsoever. I would highly recomend them!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I use software service called Exactimate. It's the industry gold star standard. It uses prices by zip code. They get there pricing from surveying local contractors, its the same system most insurance companies use.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Brief discussion to see if we are a good fit. If we are I would do an on site visit to discuss the details of the project. After a consultation I will provide a free detailed estimate within 24-48 hours for the scope of work discussed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Carroll University and have over twenty years experience in the trades and estimating experience. I've completed hundred's of remodeling projects and thousands of estimates. I have also expedited large new construction projects.
