I appreciate the attorney getting back to me quickly and the quality of his work.May 19, 2019Verified
Following a consultation, we decided not to proceed with our claim. However I will definitely return to Cornerstone for other legal needs. They were professional, knowledgeable and patient. Would highly recommend their services.May 18, 2018Verified
Michael was excellent to work with. Not only was he flexible and accommodating to our needs, he also is very responsive via Thumbtack’s messenger which made setting up meetings and staying in contact unbelievably easy - which makes such a big difference during stressful times. Really appreciate the great service Michael provided and will be returning for future needs!May 5, 2018Verified
This is a great boutique law firm that responded quickly to my questions and took the time to review my case at no cost. They are very knowledgeable within their area of law and I would recommend this group to everyone and anyone.May 19, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always try to offer at least two types of fee arrangements: flat, hourly, or contingent. Sometimes, only one is appropriate, but I like to provide my clients with options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always like to start with an in-person free consultation. At the consultation, we collect some basic contact information, find out about your situation, find out which parts matter most to you, and discuss possible strategies to resolve any issues. We can also talk over the phone or correspond some other way, but meeting in person gives me the best opportunity to understand you and what you're looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Continuing education is very important as a lawyer. The minimum requirement is 30 hours of "CLE" credits every two years and many lawyers do the bare minimum. Personally, I spend closer to thirty hours each year on each area I practice. It's important to me that I'm incredibly knowledgeable at what I do. The law is frequently changing - faster in some specialties than in others - so don't you want a lawyer who stays up to date?
