We were celebrating my Mom's 70th Birthday. We wanted a 7 course dinner. I gave Chef James a general overview of what I wanted and he put together a perfect menu. Most importantly his execution was on point. Every plate. Every guest is still talking about it. I am in the food business and have been for 22 years so I assure you the bar was set high. The presentation was picture perfect and utilized unique and yet very appropriate dishes. It was a classy experience. The class was fun and gave everyone the ability to recreate part of the evening. (Or at least attempty to). And clean up was impressive. Not a spot was missed. Once we agreed on the menu there was nothing for me to do besides show up with our guests hungry. Price was definitely fair. I hope to have a need to hire Chef James again. Thank you for your role in what was a perfect evening.

I typically will not promote a business or write a reviews, this is a well deserved onetime exception! I broke our family Christmas tradition and hired Chef James to cook our dinner. His over the top customer service, menu selection and preparation for the even was more then I could ever have expected. This officially is in top 10 best things done this year list! James did an over the top job preparing our dinner and it was so worth every penny! I can't begin to tell you the complements we heard about the food. Our sit down dinner menu for 28 people: Iceberg chopped salad with bacon, tomatoes and cucumbers Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and herb cream with green beans, roasted potato salad Candied walnut triple chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. Kudos Chef James Jens! Thank-you again James!! You will forever be in my contacts list! Cheryl P.

My experience with Chef James lived up to everything that I read in his reviews! I hired him for an 11-person gathering to celebrate my husbands 40th Birthday. He responded promptly to my emails, and "met" with me and my husband over the phone to discover his favorite foods, spices and flavors. He then created an amazing menu - of foods that my husband would have assuredly ordered in a restaurant! He is calm and laid back, but very outgoing and willing to chat while he cooks if you are interested (however, he appears to be just as happy cooking in silence!). Not only was the food delicious, it was beautifully plated. As other reviewers describe, he finished the evening by clearing and washing all of the dishes, and making it seem as though he was never there. If the opportunity arises, we will have him back without question!
