- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout my college career I studied piano, voice, trombone and cello with private teachers to enhance my trade as a musician as well as a music teacher. In the spring of 2015 I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education. I continue to build on my education by participating in professional choirs within the Metro-Milwaukee area, teaching at summer band camps, and by investing in private music lessons for myself on my instruments.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion for music and teaching began with a small spark initiated by my first piano teacher and my parents when I was in third grade. After beginning piano lessons, my love for music took off my interest in music broadened to studying trombone, voice and later cello. My passion for music and working with people in a music setting has always been and will continue to be my motivation for pursing a career in teaching music.
