I offer doula services, placenta encapsulation (blood-borne pathogen certified), and birth art (focal points, fine art, jewelry, sculpture, and more). What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One thing that is so important in a doula is NOT a certification. It is how they connect with you (the client) and how they treat you. Having a certification does not mean a person is a good doula. To be a good doula, one needs to have a sincere desire to help the woman in need.
