OmniTrades was founded in 2019 by Scott Petri and his partner Arielle Bolly-Petri. Scott graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduating, Scott worked as an engineering project manager and an optical coating engineer. However, he found himself unsatisfied at a desk all day. Scott comes from a family of trades-people and has always found joy in the work. This inspired him to use his advanced mechanical knowledge to start OmniTrades. Thanks to his engineering background, Scott has the unique ability to sort information and visualize a solution. While working with his father (a master electrician), Scott learned the importance of truly listening to his customer's needs and fully explaining their options. Scott values his customer’s confidence in him and strives to create a long term professional relationship.

They are absolutely excellent- we are so lucky to have hired them! Installed our new dishwasher perfectly- even when we stumbled across some unexpected roadblocks on our end regarding materials. So kind and honest and knowledgeable- we will be hiring them again in the future!!!

This company is excellent! We live in Belleville, a bit off the beaten path. They didn’t charge a trip charge to come to us and their rates are very reasonable. Scott was very transparent with what he needed to do in order to install our microwave and didn’t waste anytime getting it done! He cleaned up all the drywall dust and everything! I’ll definitely use them again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $75/hr to complete any project. There are no hidden fees beyond the time to complete the work and material cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical process starts with a customer providing as much detail as possible. From there we will either have more questions or we will provide a free online estimate. If the estimate is agreeable, we will schedule a date/time and verify a location. When that time comes, we arrive and perform the work. Payment is due at the time of project completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner has a Bachelor's Degree in Biosystems-Mechanical Engineering.
The owner is also licensed as a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier.
