I loved working with Carissa! She is sweet, personable and does fabulous work. She did my bridal makeup as well as my matron of honor, my mom and flower girls makeup and everyone looked natural and beautiful. My makeup stayed flawless the whole night which was wonderful because I have combination- dry/oily skin. I would definitely hire her again!

I cannot say enough great things about Carissa! She is such a sweet, funny, charismatic person and was the perfect person for my wedding day. My maid of honor and I did a makeup trial with her prior to the wedding and I was blown away by her talent! In addition, she helped me look elegant and feel calm & confident prior to the ceremony. She was more than willing to not only travel to my venue, but also traveled an hour plus to my house for the trial, for a very small fee, which was greatly appreciated. Please use her for any occasion, you will not be disappointed! 😊

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to make the process as simple and easy as possible. It can be as in-depth as you want. Typically we discuss all of the details over a scheduled call and schedule a trial. I can offer deposits and contracts upon request however, I find my clients like the freedom from not feeling bound to a contract or down payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I traveled as a freelance makeup artist for Jane Iredale for 3 years, during that time, I had the opportunity to attend many trainings and seminars.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved makeup. I never thought of it as a career until I met a professional makeup artist about 10 years ago. I started shadowing her on photo shoots and my career took off from there.
