Introduction: I'm professional, insured and have spent the last 6 1/2 years working with dogs. I recently invested in building my own daycare facility on a 41 acre farm and am looking forward to making dog’s dreams come true. I'm also a dog specialist and have active dogs of my own. All my experience and work is with dogs and only dogs. I have volunteered at the Humane Society in their training department and use all my experiences to help my customers and their dogs work toward common goals. I get to work with dogs all day!!! What could be better than that?

After our 7 day vacation, my husband and I came back to 2 very happy and content dogs. We entrusted the care of our dogs to Rick and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. My elderly father-in-law lives with us and we wanted to have the dogs stay in our home with him. However, it is difficult for my father-in-law to do the stairs numerous times a day to let the dogs out. So we searched for a solution and found Rick at Rover.com. He came over to assist with letting the dogs out 2 times a day and it was just what we had hoped for. We came home to happy healthy dogs. We have found great confidence in Rick and will definitely use him for future trips. Thanks Rick!!!

Rick was awesome. He knew what he was talking about and helped me put everything in perspective. First he listened to what I had to say and then he put together a course of action to help my dog tackle his issues with resource guarding. Rick left me with written instructions on what we discussed so I couldn't forget anything. I would highly recommend Rick to help you train your new puppy or adult dog.

I could not be happier with the training and the love Rick showed our German Shothair, Brandy!!!! Rick trained and boarded Brandy for 3 weeks in his own home and treated her like a member of the family - he definitely went above and beyond our expectations. He also kept in touch via text messaging and send several adorable photos of her. I would highly recommend Rick to anyone interested in improving the behavior of their dog with quality training! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dog Daycare: $25 all day ( we have limited availability to do pick up and delivery). There are no hidden or additional fees. We are limited capacity facility maxing out at 18 dogs per day. We have 2 outdoor play areas (40’x100’ and 60’x100’ that fenced in with 6’ fencing and pea gravel yard, so no muddy paws). We also have 2 indoor play areas as well. Dogs will be separated by temperament and like minded dogs will be grouped together. Boarding: We offer in our home pet setting at $35/overnight. We also offer boarding in our facility for $25/overnight.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything starts with screening on the phone or email. I want to ensure I can provide everything you’re looking for. If we are a match, I would then invite you out to the facility to ensure your dog is comfortable here and with some of the other dogs. If it is a fit then I would provide you with the necessary paperwork to fill out and vet/shot records needed to schedule your first day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I volunteer at the Humane Society and shadow classes so I can fill in as an instructor when needed.
