He did a great job with our door. We bought a slab door, the measurements weren't quite right, so it wouldn't close. Rick was able to solve the problem. He was really flexible with the time to meet and he was fair with the price. I would like to hire him again for other jobs.

Rick came a distance to give us an estimate and was able to tell us on the spot. He even gave us tips for some other house projects that we are doing on our own. His estimate and timeline was the most reasonable of all bids we got. He was able to start the project within two weeks. When he ran into an unanticipated electrical problem he spent the afternoon calling electricians until one could immediately come out. Everything was done in the time frame we were given. We are so happy with the end result. Would hire again.

Rick came out to look at our project and give us a bid. He took pictures and measurements, also took a copy of the plans I had drawn for a rough idea of what we wanted. After 1 1/2 weeks I called him, he said his wife was having health issues and give him a couple days. After 2 weeks I called again and left a voicemail. As of the time of this review it has been 2 1/2 weeks, still no quote, call, or text. Nothing. I can understand if you can’t get the quote done or don’t want to do the project, but let a person know. Not very professional, especially for someone starting up and building his business.

my wife was in hospital for 2 weeks and sick for 3 more weeks at home . I did tell him i didnt know when id be able to get back to him. sorry ,my wife and kids needed me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
my pricing is fair and reasonable .I would suggest everyone get 3 bids , throw out the high and low bids and hire me for the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
the first thing I do is figure out exactly what the customer wants even if they are not sure. next let them know what materials can be used, what options are available, then what I can do for them and what the cost will be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to a number of different builder magazines.I also go to seminars, trade shows. I take continuing ed. classes to keep my contractor license
