The work performed was design and construction of 3 stall garage and a studio above. Design was very good and the construction management average. Better choice of sub-contractors and certain materials would help improve the final product.

On this project we saved $30k over a General Contractor's bid, and completed the project within the budget we started with. This led to the Owner approving a comparable window supplier, which in the end was a $6k savings but was not as satisfactory when compared to performance and service of the comparable supplier.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to propose/quote a fee until we know what amount of time a project will require. Projects vary greatly in complexity and the level of services the customer desires.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask allot of questions, gather allot of information at the beginning to understand the scope of the project, the context (city zoning regs. and codes, land, history), and the Owner's preferences, and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Architecture from the University of MN, and over 30 years of experience in design and construction management. My assistant has a degree in Interior Design.
