Kyara was just perfect for my birthday celebration, her set up is very classy, she played great background music, and our guests enjoyed her immensely. Highly recommend her! Plus she is just very personable. She added so much to our event.

We hired Kyara to come play music at our holiday party. I found her just a few days before the event, and wasn’t even sure I’d get a response (based on some past experience on Thumbtack…), but she got back to me right away. She communicated wonderfully, was super accommodating to our musical requests (which we changed up on her a couple times), she arrived early and got right to the piano. Her music was BEAUTIFUL! It provided the perfect ambiance for our party. We will 100% hire Kyara again!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings, I have a song selection form that helps couples determine which songs that want to use for each part of the ceremony. For cocktail parties and other special events, I consider the genres desired by the host or event planner and curate a set list to fit the audience and include specific requests whenever possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took formal piano lessons throughout childhood and have been playing for my church and the local community theatre for the last 10 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
The first wedding I played was for my cousin’s wedding when I was in college. After that, I played two different friends’ weddings and decided to advertise outside of my immediate circle during the pandemic.
