- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Oftentimes, I work per project rather than hourly. I find my clients prefer to know the total cost and specific work details upfront. Additionally, this assists in keeping the costs down and allows my clients to track and project their expenses for the year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss the project, goals, and budget with our client. Then, send a detailed proposal outlining the process and specific services based on my client's goals. It's never a one-size-fits-all because each project has different elements and components which make it unique.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my education from the College of St. Catherine focusing on English and Communications. I have more than 16 years of experience in marketing, writing, and business. My company Steel Blue Media has been in operation since 2006. Additionally, I was the editor-in-chief for Metro Women Quarterly magazine, a high-end luxury, leisure and lifestyle publication in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
