About

I want to help owners and their dogs become the best they can together. I work to determine the best course of action for the owner to work with their dogs and I work one on one with the dogs and owners so I can see the dogs in their natural environment allowing their behavior to mirror what the owners experience. I educate owners on the cause of their dog's behavior and proceed to educate them on the actions that will help increase the desired behaviors and curb the undesired ones. In addition to the educational material provided I show owners how to train their dogs when I am not present therefore strengthening the training results and creating a solid bond between owner and dog.

Anna is a great person to work with; our regret is that we didn’t find her sooner. We thought we could learn about training by reading tips online, but after each session we learned new ways to address issues we were having. Our dog had been abused in a prior household, but Anna was great in showing us how to help ease fears and improve the relationship with all members in our household and when guests were over.

Anna made a big impact from the first moment she met our puppy! We worked with Anna over the course of a few months, and Anna's insight and skill made a difference from day 1. She taught us how to respond to behaviors we wanted to change (like eating shoes, jumping up on everyone, occasionally nipping at our kids) and she also taught us how to affirm and praise the behaviors we liked and wanted to nurture. Our dog was exasperating for a while but is now an amazing and sweet member of our family. All of the behaviors that were stressing us out are virtually gone. Thanks, Anna!

Anna was excellent to work with. She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and great at helping us learn teachable techniques from basic puppy manners and socialization to good walking and yard boundary behaviors. It is a process and we are still working with our pup, but we have the knowledge and tools after working with Anna.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer multiple different training packages. There is no one size fits all for dogs, every dog is different therefore their training needs are not all the same. To accommodate to this difference my training packages vary from Puppy 101, reactive behavior, loose leash love, fearful fido and the works. In addition to packages I have individual sessions available, consultations and even remote sessions. Pricing is based on the package.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I connect with potential clients and provide a quote and recommendation on which training package would best suite their needs. I am more than happy to discuss options via phone call. If additional information is needed or you would like to meet me before getting started we can set up a day and time to meet and decide on which training package would be best. From there we can get started with training; typically aiming for 1 session a week or every other week. At the end of training I provide a packet including a summary of training, additional tips, resources, recommendations and nutritional information.
