Pete was fast, thorough, and did a great job assembling a large and heavy executive desk for me. He even added pads to the legs, which were not included in the box. Thanks Pete!May 17, 2017Verified
The service provided by Pete was amazing. I contacted Pete through Thumbtack regarding what seemed like an impossible task -- to disassemble/reassemble a newly purchased Pottery Barn sofa that would not fit through the twisty narrow path to the TV room of our 1920-era home. Pete came and assessed the situation and determined that the upholstery would need to be removed from the back of the sofa and then the back frame removed, which would then allow the sofa to be moved by pieces into the TV room, reassembled and the back reupholstered. So Pete did this and the sofa looks amazing and is very sturdy -- one cannot tell that anything was done to the sofa! In addition to the excellent workmanship, Pete also is a reliable businessman -- for both appointments (original assessment and actual service visit) Pete arrived on time and then thoroughly cleaned his work area. I highly recommend Pete and Heirloom Furniture Repair for any job and will be calling Pete in the future.Nov 12, 2014Verified

I cannot say enough about the INCREDIBLE job these guys did repairing my furniture!! In 30 minutes flat, these guys came into my apartment & took a large, solid wood armoire that was crumbling & got it back on its feet!! I’m so HAPPY!!! 😀 For over 2 years, I’ve had this big beautiful piece of furniture sitting in my home w/ out it’s leg, & now I can enjoy it again!! Thank you so much! I will be recommending you guys to everyone I know!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Dec 1, 2018Verified

- What types of customers have you worked with?I do many wood repairs for the new construction industry as well as maintenance and upkeep for many retirement communities. Most common restorations are for customers that want to keep that family heirloom and pass it on to future generations.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?We recently repurposed an old broken Balwin piano into a desk/bookcase.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?I am here to cut down on the waste in the furniture business. Today's furniture is made as a disposeable comodity. I was raised that you keep what you buy and make it last thru repairs and upkeep.
