FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up, I was often asked, “aren’t you Jack’s daughter?” Yes I am. Jack’s daughter, of all trades. My formal education is in the medical field, with a special interest in psychology, art, and design. Life’s unexpected twists and turns have thrown me feet first into exploring things I never would have dreamed of doing (like putting up drywall or cleaning a stranger’s windows) and really enjoying it! I do have a diverse interest things, and love learning as much as I can along the way.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After my whole world was turned upside down, I didn’t feel I could return to the medical field with the same passion I’d once had so much of. I started to help a friend with their handyman business, and found I really enjoyed it! I love the variation of tasks, situations, surroundings and challenges with each project, but most of all, my cup is filled just a little further with every person I meet along the way. Being able to set my own schedule allows the most availability for my little darlings. The 2 most important people in my life, my whole world, call me Mama, and I’ve never heard anything sweeter.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions! The worst I can say is, “no.” Finishing a project having not only met - but exceeded your expectations, is my goal. I love to hear another perspective and thoroughly enjoy learning how people arrive at their decision. I’m all ears, I appreciate a challenge, I’m not afraid to ask for help, and I will admit when I’m wrong or in over my head.
