I am experienced in rescue, fostering, adoption. I am familiar with various breeds and their temperaments. I walk/handle them at my local animals shelter. When we met Jay and Susan, their love of animals (including cats!) and confidence in being able to care for our diabetic cat made it easy for us to trust our kitty to them during our recent vacation. Sue texted pictures of our kitty during their daily visits and it was clear he was being pampered and played with each visit. We highly recommend their services!

I am so happy I found Susan to help me out while I recover from surgery. She has a true love of animals, and my little dog loves going on walks with her. I needed someone to come in and check on my 3 cats for 4 days. They made sure they had food, water and petting. Also cleaned out litter boxes (of which I have 5) and brought in my mail. Couldn't be happier. Very professional and caring.

We made plans for a trip and then learned that our cat sitter, a neighbor, would not be available. We came to Thumbtack for help and Susan responded promptly. After talking to her on the phone we felt comfortable and invited her to visit us and our kitty. We became completely comfortable after meeting her and her husband. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge a standard fee of 25$ per dog. If there is two or more I charge 10$ for each dog (negotiable). I have some clients who are elderly and handicapped or to feeble to walk their dogs so I give a discount rate of 10$.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure the fit is right, that my client feels secure with me and most of all that the
there best friends (dogs/cats) trust me. I want new clients to know that I will be very trustworthy and reliable . We discuss their needs like hours and days and we come to an agreement where we all are happy. I like staying in contact with my customers by texting or leaving notes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continuing basic training and attending behavioral clinics
I worked alongside a Vet while living in Texas my duties were assisting in minor surgery and wellness checks. Volunteered at local shelter as dog handler and trainer. Also started a program with the approval of shelters director and behavior director to provide weekends away at my home for dogs who have been in the shelter for a long period of time.
