I took a chance on using Thumbtack to look for golf lessons. It turned out to be the best thing I’ve done in over three years for my game. Within the first lesson Barrett had me hitting my irons more consistently. He knows exactly what little corrections I needed to make to get my swing looking and performing better. For the second lesson we kept improving skills and the fundamentals and my golf swings are looking much better. He’s a great instructor, listens to your concerns, and curtails each lesson through those concerns. Also Golf Academy provides great resources like the golf simulator and Barrett sends me videos of my swing with commentary to help me review.

I have only had two lessons with Barrett, but he has been an excellent teacher. His teaching is succinct and well thought out. He has also provides high quality drills and custom lesson reviews which helps with taking his teachings away from the lesson.
