About
I grew up on the island of Malta and Italian was my third language. I watched Italian TV channels growing up and I studied Italian and French in school in addition to Maltese, English and Arabic. I love languages and my family all speaks and understands Italian back home. In college I minored in Spanish which came super easy to me after having studied two other Romance languages. In graduate school I was required to study German for a year and that was a different language from what I was used to. As a music educator, I also pride myself in knowing and teaching the language of music.

I have adored taking Italianlessons. I feel like I have learned so much in the few months that I have done them. Taking lessons provided me with a much better understanding of the language than I would have gotten from an online site. It’s been so beneficial to be able to work at my own pace and have someone to help me along the way. My pronunciation and overall grasp of the language has drastically improved since I began taking lessons. I also really appreciate how the vocabulary and concept lessons mesh together, which makes it easier to start building your Italian repertoire. I would 100% recommend these lessons.
