Thankfully, our claim through American Home Shield was assigned to Air Serv, and looking back, I'm very glad it was.From the very first interaction, the customer service was outstanding. Krystal did an excellent job scheduling the initial appointment, explaining the company's process, and setting expectations. As a homeowner, one of the biggest concerns is communication, and Air Serv exceeded expectations. Every time someone was headed to my home, I received a text update. The photos of the technicians were admittedly a little awkward (in the most entertaining way possible), but I genuinely appreciated knowing exactly who was showing up at my door.Mathias arrived for the initial diagnostic and immediately identified the issues with our system. There was no guessing, no confusing jargon, and no pressure. The team took the time to thoroughly explain our options, costs, and recommendations. What really stood out was how transparent they were throughout the entire process. Instead of pushing the most expensive solution, they helped us work through a true cost-benefit analysis to determine what made the most sense for our home and budget.After much discussion, we decided to replace the HVAC system entirely, and that's where Nathan and Seth came in. They replaced the HVAC unit, coils, and even cleaned up the surrounding area to ensure debris from the old system wouldn't impact the new one. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and workmanship were exceptional.One thing consumers often look for when choosing an HVAC company is whether the technicians educate homeowners rather than just perform the work and leave. Air Serv absolutely delivered. Nathan and Seth patiently answered every question, explained the benefits of the new system, and even provided guidance on what to do if we encounter issues in the future.Another highlight is Air Serv's maintenance plan, which was included for the first year with our purchase. Preventative maintenance is often overlooked until something breaks, so having that support already in place provides tremendous peace of mind.We also had Air Serv perform our vent cleaning, and Tyler was fantastic. He was thorough and made sure no vent was missed. Because of the trust and confidence we developed in the team, we ultimately chose to install a dehumidifier as well - thank you, Gabe.What customers want from an HVAC company is simple: honesty, communication, expertise, quality workmanship, reliability, and technicians who genuinely care. Air Serv checked every one of those boxes. Every employee we encountered was professional, knowledgeable, and committed to making a stressful situation easier.Losing your airconditioning during a Wisconsin summer is not an experience I would recommend. Mathias was very helpful and informative. He made sure the dryer vent was clean and used the sweeper multiple times to ensure the vent tubbing was as clean as it could be.
