We hired Mattea to photograph our micro wedding in Milwaukee earlier this summer. She produced so many beautiful shots of the venue, us getting ready, as a couple, family shots, the ceremony and so much more. Mattea was an absolute joy to work and is excellent at her craft, producing photographs that really capture the vibe and essence of any event and people. My husband and I were also very appreciative of her prep process which consisted of a phone call, questionnaire and in person walk thru. Mattea is EXCEPTIONAL! She is truly talented. She was fun to work with, so sweet and kind to us. The photos are beautiful. She worked well with the windy day we had and again made the shoot PERFECT! The one thing that impressed me before we even met was her honesty. I had a budget. She could have charged me what my budget was but she didn't. I've been in business for about a decade. I'm completely self- taught and have learned everything I know from experience!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started a fashion blog back in 2014, and took a lot of photos of my friends' outfits. Over time I just learned to love being behind the camera! Being in front of the camera has helped form who I am as a photographer as I quickly learned flattering poses and how to work with props and various scenes.
