FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Although the web is a great place to start looking for a lawyer, you should never hire a lawyer based on a web site, a mailing, or a television ad. You and your lawyer must work together on some of the most important issues in your life. Therefore, there is no substitute for a personal meeting. Always set up a personal meeting with a lawyer before you hire him or her. At this meeting, you should determine: (1) whether you feel comfortable working with this lawyer; (2) does the lawyer seem competent (i.e. how much experience does he have handling your type of issue?); and, (3) is the lawyer being frank with you about your legal issue, or does he sound more like a used car salesman making you all kinds of promises that are hard to believe?
