    10 stars for Abby!
I needed and wanted a physical therapist masseuse, as I have a torn rotator cuff which needs to mend. Abby knows everything about every muscle, nerve...and has great knowledge how to heal physical problems/hurts. Highly recommend Abby! She is also kind, gracious, and has a lovely massage room which is healing in itself. Joan

Finding a massage therapist that understands the body, muscle groups, how they work, move and are all tied in together is pretty difficult. Finding someone that understands all that and can interpret what the body wants and needs as well as understanding the patient's wants and needs is like finding a bobby pin in a mile high 10 mile wide hay stack. Ab is that bobby pin. I've tried other massage therapist and even went to one of those chain locations only to be let down. Ab knew what I needed and put together a plan to accomplish it. I will become a regular of her's from here on out. Thanks Ab.

Abbi went above and beyond in her massage. She interviewed me and was committed to making me as pain-free as possible. She was able to rid me of several knots, and I felt much better leaving and the next day. I booked another appointment with her in a month. Thank you!

I have been a Massage Therapist since 2001. Since then, I have had many massages, and without a doubt, Abbie is the best Massage Therapist that I have received massage from! She is very skilled at knowing what she is feeling and how to treat each area with the utmost care. Her dedication to learning many different massage modalities is so invaluable to someone like myself, a person who benefits from needing anywhere from a more light pressure touch, to needing deep muscle work, to needing and benefitting from Craniosacral work. Abbie knows just what type of technique to apply in every area and is always present to my needs. I have gotten such tremendous relief from chronic headaches from an old and more recent car accident because of Abbie's incredible work. I am so grateful for the Healing that my body has gone through as a result of Abbie's care and attention. Thank you, Abbie, I am eternally grateful for your sevices; I am so blessed by your gifted hands!

This was my first time ever having a massage done. I had a 60 minute session with Ab. She made sure the pressure on me was comfortable and adjusted it to my liking. The brief conversations we had made it a personable experience and made it seem like she really wanted to get to know her clients. The aftermath of the massage made me feel super light and energetic, like I was able to run a marathon. Ab knows what she is doing and enjoys what she does. I will definately go back to see her when I get a chance.

Ab Yang is amazing... My massage was done in Milwaukee at Resting Place Massage Therapy Center... She put things in perspective for me as she went from one area to another... She helped with every area of my body... I could walk and bend with much more ease... I left the office knowing that I was very blessed to have picked Ab as a massage therapist... Suzanne

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keeping up with continuing education is a must. I see it as an investment in my self and my clients. New information and ideas are constantly coming out that can help me help my clients recover quicker.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I needed bodywork treatment myself and somewhere along the line fell in love with the career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Half of the clients I work with are clients who have careers in highly competitive fields, always extremely stress and just need to relieve it. The other half of my clients are exercise enthusiasts, people with chronic pain, and people that play sports. I customize each of their bodywork treatment to reach their goal. Sometimes that means to just relax, others is to relieve muscle tension or tightness.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client came in wanting help to relieve upper back pain. Client did not realize that relieving all that tension can help increase flexibility and range of motion. Client loves to play golf and is very excited that he has more movement in his arms and torso. Shared with me that he when out the next day to test out his new body at the golf course and is loving it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research and ask questions. Massage therapists are not all the same. We specialize in many different areas just like doctors. Some may just specialize in spa work, while others specialize in treatment of pain, sports, or even behavioral health.
