About
Client/Designer relationships. You have to create a trusting bond between yourself and the client. This is the most important of starting a project. When the Designer and the Client are on the same page, then the project is pretty much guaranteed to be a success. The other important thing is to keep it light. Don't be serious all the time. There is a time and a place for serious. The Client is nervous to start with. inject humor at the right times to keep the Client relaxed. When everyone is relaxed and focused, then the entire project tends to go much better

We found Dan on Thumbtack and asked him if he was interested in doing architectural plans for a new addition to our home. He responded promptly! We set a time for him to see our place and listen to our thoughts and ideas about what we needed. We proceeded to work with him over the next months and could not be happier with the results. He did a very professional job and his knowledge and expertise provided us with money saving ideas. If we have another project we will definitely go with Dan at Delta Design LLC.

Dan was easy to work with! He was very thorough and easily accessible. The plans he designed for us were exactly what we wanted and we’re excited to begin our addition!

Dan at Delta Design was very professional. He didn’t mind answering all our questions when we called him often. We did all our own general contracting so we had many of them. Dan was pleasant to talk to and a very smart person. We chose him because of his many years of experience. We moved back from Texas and wanted him to replicate our house we had there. It was a southern style house with two story pillars on the porch. It turned out just like it but even better! If you choose him as an architect, you will be very happy!

Dan has been a pleasure and very professional to work with. He gets back to me promptly when I have questions. His work has been high in quality, with particular attention to detail and accuracy. I would highly recommend Dan to you if you are looking for a good, reasonably priced architect for your new house design and plans for construction.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for project design is on an individual case. in residential, it is usually by the sq. ft.(ranging from 1.75 psf to 2.75 psf depending on style and complexity).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have been brought onboard, we begin by setting up an initial "Meet and Greet" meeting. I want to get to know what the client is thinking, in regards to their project. I like to keep the relationship light and easy. The client needs to know that while his or her project is a very important one, there is no reason that we can't have fun putting it together. I want them to ask questions, and tell me what they want incorporated into the project. I will be honest with them and let them know if what they want, or are thinking, is practical or economically feasible. During the course of design, they will have amply time to study and evaluate the project, and modify it before it is released for pricing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For the past 50+ years, all my planning and design has been hands on and field related. starting out in custom design manufactured housing, and the working into commercial/industrial/institutional planning and design. I was fortunate to work for some of the best companies and contractors in the area. There are very few construction types that I haven't been involved in, in some design capacity.
