- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on amount of travel required and size of event (size of event would determine number of hours devoted to planning the event, the duration of the event, etc.). Payment plans are negotiable; pricing may be based on percentage of total budget, by the hour, or on a flat fee. Type and size of event determines the payment plan.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have an education in business and financial management, but I have a passion for customer service and helping to make important days or events monumental, effective, and stress-free. I wanted to get into this line of work because I enjoy it, and enjoying work makes for a happier life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For my services, a customer needs only to be able to answer preliminary questions about the direction of the project. My advice is to think about the desires of everyone involved, if there is more than one person the event is revolved around. The preliminary questions would address all concerns.
