Andy was meticulous about the quality of his craft and work. He was personable and very open to feedback to ensure we were happy with the end result. Of the four bids we received, he was the only one to have had experience doing a herringbone pattern. It’s more work than a subway pattern, but he did not try to persuade me from what I wanted like another tile guy did. He provided very up-to-date and modern suggestions about how to make the herringbone pattern stand out. He was also very precise in his cutting that there was very minimal waste, which helped us save money for another project. We appreciated that he cleaned up when he was done with the job. We enjoyed working with him. He was honest and hard-working. We would hire him again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices for square foot vary on type of tile, customization, length of project. Reasonably priced, lean towards a touch above average cost in the area due to a keen eye for detail and my guarantee for no charge returns for any minor adjustments/ touch ups. More negotiable and lenient for cash jobs (no invoice).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Address the area(s) for tile work through contact. Meet homeowner for a measurement and level check for working conditions to determine the extent of the job. Review my info and send out a quote. Negotiate. Establish a date and time to start tile work. 25% down before the start for materials. 50% down if I need to acquire the tile.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Previous individual tile work from working general construction for 6 years. I’ve worked one full year under a tile company, who also does outstanding work.
