I contacted Chris because the front and back doors of our home weren't closing easily I thought we might need new doors, thresholds and maybe a frame. I wanted him to take a look to see what needed to be done. Chris contacted me right away and arrived the next morning. He fixed the doors and they all work wonderfully now! We likely need to replace a few of the doors but not immediately and can do so when we are ready. Chris gave us all the information on what we need to look for when we are ready to replace and then he will install them. He was very conscientious detailed, skilled and quick at getting the doors fixed. We're so happy that he was able to fix them rather than having a larger expense for now!

Chris was able to fix a storm door that was original to my 1950s home. He thought through the best way to keep the old hardware and made it work without needing to be replaced. Some less experienced folks would have just told me to replace the door. I am grateful for his help and professionalism. And, he is a super nice guy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depends on if the door is fire rated, templating for handle sets and crash bars, or closers will determine the cost of the door. The hourly rate for door install is $100/hour. For Handyman type services or door repair it is $75/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the job. It will take around 7-14 days to order a door and if needed have a light kit put in. If it's for handyman type services, it depends on how busy we are. Typically, a week or 2.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years' experience in commercial and residential door installs. Around 30 years' experience in Handyman services.
