FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
40.00 flat rate for a visit assuming I fix something No charge for something I can't fix 25.00/hr after the flat rate. I'm excellent at scouring the depths of the web to find you the best deal on parts if a piece of hardware needs to be replcaead.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm extremely customer focused and enjoy problem solving. I try very hard to explain problems in lay terms rather than using confusing jargon. I know IT can be very overwhelming!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN. I am also Cisco CCENT certified for routing and switching. I work for a large healthcare organization by day in the Information Services department where I setup, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IS equipment in a Windows environment. I'm just an all around handy guy who can fix juuuust about anything. (Or will at least try! :D) I formerly worked for Hewlett-Packard as an HP Certified laserjet technician also trained on the S900 series copy machines. I know my way around a Laserjet and understand theory and fundamentals of print.
