FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically after we agree to work together, I get to know precisely what it is they want and then begin offering ideas on how to go about it. Sometimes there's not much to discuss as it's a fairly straight forward request (ie a headshot on a backdrop), but other times the client doesn't have any idea of what they're after and they're looking for ideas. This is where we'll discuss topics such as types of shoots, locations, styles and mood. Usually a client will ask some additional questions about what to do prior, during or after the shoot, however if I don't hear them I'll offer up some additional information about what is going to happen in order to ease their mind, as well as add in some suggestions they might not have considered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new techniques to take editing to the next level. Whether it's frequency separation to "photoshop" a face or the latest in color grading, I'm always on top of it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a long running passion for photography ever since childhood. College took me in that direction as well, but I deviated for a while branching into other fields before finally arriving back at where I am, producing what you see now.
