Rick and Karus were absolutely fantastic. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, polite, respectful, and incredibly professional. They took the time to clearly explain what was causing the problem, how they diagnosed it, and exactly what needed to be done to fix it. Everything was transparent, easy to understand, and I never felt pressured or left with unanswered questions.
What really stood out was how helpful they were. They didn’t just fix the problem—they also gave me practical tips on what to watch for in the future and explained how to handle the valve if I ever encountered a similar issue again. That extra level of care and education was greatly appreciated.
I had already spoken with several other plumbers before calling Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and I received either vague, inconclusive answers or outrageously expensive estimates. Rick and Karus were honest, decisive, and offered a very fair and reasonable price for the work. It was refreshing to deal with people who were knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely wanted to help.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out to give me an estimate. Two individuals came out, assessed the situation one of them then mentioned that they also clean vents. I told him that I was not interested he then said he would do it as a courtesy (he never followed up on this).
When Karus (plumber) arrived the next day, he was on time and I could tell he was focused and wanted to get right to work. When Karus completed the work, he showed me how he ran the pipe from the sump pump to the outside. Karus cleaned up the area before he left. He was very professional and pleasant to be around. I would recommend Karus for future plumbing issues.
