FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I do continue my education by attending MATC for audio production, reading multiple journals and magazines about live sound, studio recording, and the general state of the audio industry, as well as teaching audio production classes at MATC, repairing and inventing audio equipment, and constantly troubleshooting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to the realization the music and audio are a love of mine, and I got into this line of "work" (read fun) because I love it, not because I want to make money.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of job would be troubleshooting for other engineer's, but most of the time my work is based on recording bands and live shows. Broadcast audio, and audio for film was a fun way to expand my knowledge over the other types of audio recordings.
