Today Taylor Welke and his crew finished up painting my house and garage from top to bottom. I must say that his expertise, communication & professionalism was very well received. He is knowledgeable on exactly the different type of paints and sheens and color mix to match our roof to our existing trim that turned out to look fantastic. He also gives exceptional customer service and does precision work. His prep with drop cloths, sanding, putty, masking tape and caulk were very thorough. Our historic 80 year old home needed this exterior renovation and Taylor Welke of Novel Painting made this house look literally brand new. On another note, he is honest, trustworthy, and of good character and I’d give him a 5 out of 5 star reference anytime. He and his crew are a delight to have around on any painting project! Taylor was absolutely fantastic. He painted our kitchen, living room and hallway going into our basement and ceilings. I don’t have pictures off hand of the living room & kitchen, but this is the hallway to the basement Very efficient & professional. Definitely would recommend to anybody needing work done.

I hired Taylor to paint my kitchen, hallway and stairs going down to the basement. He had me scheduled for September 15th but called to see if he could come earlier on September 4th which worked out great. He did a great job and was very personable and professional. My kitchen looks so much brighter. I have asked him to come back after the holidays to do a couple more projects for me. He was very dependable and got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend Novel Painting for anyone’s interior painting project.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free estimates. Prices are set upon agreement to the contract but can change if customer asks for extra to be done or i uncover something both at needs to be fixed and the customer wants me to fix it. Seniority citizen, veteran, and non profit organization discounts are given. Discounts on the job cost to anyone are also given if whoever hired me is pleasant to work for, respectful, kind, and deserving of keeping some of their hard earned money, the job goes smooth, and i finish sooner than expected.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person or talk over the phone to get to know people a bit. Learn their personality as much as possible in order to be able to help them and make them happy with the work I do to the best of my ability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
9 years on the job experience and lots of connections with others in the field in order to be able to answer any questions and do research in to how best to do any job. From using the right products, to getting the best end results and having everything hold up to the test of time.
