clear idea of the repair needed in the beginning and reasonable price. A beautiful job!Apr 12, 2018VerifiedJohn Mark P.'s reply
Thank you Margaret!!
John was great. Very nice and helpful in planning the project. He did pickup and delivery and the finished project was absolutely beautiful. If I needed a major furniture project done again I would definitely hire him.Apr 3, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do, but pricing is based on the type of furniture and the work that needs to be done. It is a bit too much info to put down here!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically like to talk over the phone or email to get a sense of the work. I then usually like to see the piece or at lease some photos before I give a binding estimate. I love to chat as it is easier to establish what exactly needs to be done, so don't hesitate to give me a call
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked in this field for many years and primarily trained in a shop working for customers including embassies, antique dealers in Washington, the National Gallery of Art, and Dumbarton Oaks. That being said, No job is too small and I work on modern furniture as well as antiques.
