We have a large wooden table that somebody thought it would be okay to steam a wedding dress on. This resulted in a very large, white, cloudy mess. John came and took care of it and it looks beautiful! He was professional, knowledgeable and reasonable with his charge and we are very very happy!!!

John visited my home to inspect a piece and returned on another day to do the work so I never had to move the furniture. He presented a variety of options for repair and refinishing, including costs associated with each, so I could make the decision that was right for me. The patch work looks great. John combined craftsmanship and artistry to repair a large chunk of missing veneer. You’d never know it was damaged after the repair.

I'm not sure my review came through so I will post again. I was very satisfied with John Mark Power. What he promised came through in time and workmanship. I had a dining room table and chairs refinished and repairs. My furniture looks like brand new. My set was purchased in 1977. I was unsure if to get rid of it or have it refinished and parts fixed that had come loose. I am so glad I decided to have the work done instead. I was very impressed with the time frame I was given and it was met. His workmanship was above all others. I would highly recommend John Mark Power for restoration services. I am one very happy client.

John Mark designed a stand for two small Indian chests of unequal size so that I could use them as a footboard. He also repaired and restored the brass inlaid and surface decoration as well as the intricate interior carved surfaces. He created a key to replace one long missing so the chests can be locked. His workmanship is superb! I would trust him with my most prized wood pieces, whether furniture or art.
