About
I've been in construction most of my adult life. I work part time for a local family-owned construction business, but that leaves me with a lot of idle time.
I'm a straight shooter. What you see is what you get. I have a big family and a big heart. As an 11-year Army veteran I'm used to working hard, operating within defined boundaries, and creatively improvising when needed.
I'm a professional, and as such I prefer not to waste your time by showing up for a service call without a reasonable understanding of what needs to be done. I prefer to arrive with the right tools, materials, and enough time to complete the work.
I promise to respect your property, your family, your time, and your dollars. I think I charge a fair price for my services, and I stand by my work.
I do a little bit of everything, but not licensed for any of it. If you want to pay top dollar for a licensed/bonded/insured person I am NOT your guy. If you have a small job, even just a couple hours and you want to get your money's worth, I'm your guy.
I do any sort of handyman job you can imagine. A good rule of thumb is that if Home Depot carries it, I can install/repair it. Light plumbing/electrical, roofing, drywall, painting, etc.
No job is too small or too dirty. Virtual estimates are free, but if I have to travel to your home to assess the situation I'll charge $75/hr for my time there and one-way travel time from Harpers Ferry. Typically I'll waive the estimate fee if hired.
For completing the actual work, I charge $200 for the first hour and $120 for each hour after that.
For a 2-man crew it's $260 for the first hour and $180 each hour after that.
God bless!

Throughly explained what was needed and explained how it might change once he got into the project BEFORE he started. Luckily the initial assessment was correct

Harry was great! He was very attentive to our request, identified the problem and provided alternative solutions where I couldn’t think of one. We are very pleased with the quality of his work! He’s not in the market to extort his clients but to provide quality services for reasonable rates. He undertook a project for repairs in our bathroom which a major contracting company botched and made something beautiful out of it from his sheer creativity and expertise-among other repairs that we needed to address, he cleaned up afterwards and was very pleasant. We will be soliciting his services for future projects. Thank you Harry!

Amazing work and very affordable. Fixed my pressure tank issue within an hour. I got quoted 100s from other companies just to diagnose the issue. Harry came the same day and fixed the issue.
