- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I look at what needs to be done and give an estimate before I work on the project. Usually pricing can be determined over the phone once details of the task at hand have been given. I like to think my pricing is fair and I can work with low income or tight budget situations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically find out first and foremost whether my services are needed or not. Sometimes people are seeking help, but don't know exactly what help they need or know that it is available for free in most cases. After the customer's problems are understood, I will give a quote on fixing the problems. Once an agreed up solution is developed, I usually commute to the customer for an evaluation of their problems.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently taking online courses to further my knowledge of networking and server management.
