I posted the project and got two others before I hired him. Since I read so many good reviews on him, I decided to wait for him to give me estimate. Also, I felt his experience is right into my project. He showed us with right estimate and he did a good job on it. He is a very reasonable person on charges. I will certainly contact him should I have future project. When I hire somebody, I like to read reviews between the lines. A person as he is should be busy all year long.

I hired Matt to replace five rotted front porch posts. He was punctual, proficient, and personable. He charges by the job ( in my case by the post) rather than by the hour, so I knew from the start exactly what I was going to pay. He took his time and did a great job. He also spent a considerable amount of time with me discussing other projects that may need to be done in the future and advising me on the best way to go about them. I plan on hiring him in the future.

Matthew came out when he said he would for the estimate. He provided a courtesy phone call prior to arriving. He gave us suggestions for what we should do, without pressure. After getting 2 other estimates we hired American Pride. Matthew arrived exactly as he said he would and kept us informed via email throughout the process. He was to powerwash our deck, replace broken or warped boards and apply 2 costs of a solid sealer. He worked tirelessly for 2 half days and so far we are very pleased. I am sure that if we see any issues, Matthew will come back and correct them. He seems to be that kind of guy. As a matter of fact we are going to hire him for some other jobs around the house.
