Minimum service charge 2hr fee even if job is cancelled and were onsite. Our $90/hr rate is for a 2 man crew . An extra 20/hr charge for any extra personal . We take checks,cash,and paypal . If paypal is used for invoice payment there's $25-100 electronic fee. 2$ linear square foot for crack fills asphalt repair. Drive time is a factor in the final invoice if driving over 20 miles. Yes we do written contracts .

The guys showed up and did an excellent job of touching up the trim around my garage, entry and patio doors. I liked the fact that they seemed to take pride in the work in which they did. I also liked the fact that they took the time and cleaned up after they were finished. I would certainly hire them again.

If I could choose more than three items to rate their service, I absolutely would! Easiest five star review I have ever given. Hoak's Helping Hand was extremely professional, punctual, attentive, and helpful from the very beginning. They took a look at our issues and gave us a completely fair price (best value in the Shenandoah Valley, and especially for the quality of their work!). Not only did they complete the jobs we requested, at an extremely good price and with precision and professional quality, they even took it upon themselves to complete extra work WITHOUT ASKING, and at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Now I'm obviously not saying to hire them because you may get free work out of them, I am highlighting the consideration and care they took in all of the work they did, and how they left nothing in a state they wouldn't want their own home looking like. We had them repair plaster on the ceilings in a few rooms, and reattaching a gutter. They came back three or four days in a row to sand down, reapply the plaster, and put down primer on every single room over those three or four days, and completed additional work again without asking, and to the same quality standard that they completed all of the other work! I already have three or four other big jobs that I have lined up for quotes from them to be accomplished, because I know not only that I will receive a great and fair price, but that they would take extreme care and consideration while completing the work. Thank you Hoak's, and I look forward to using you from now on for any work we need done! You all deserve the best and more business than you can probably handle. Don't change anything you do, it is a rarity these days!
