Introduction: Working in Programming & Graphics for over 10 years gives my work the ability to stand out in several different ways. • I take the time to gain a comprehensive understanding of my customer’s projects. • Understanding the project’s goals with the customer’s needs allows me to place several distinctive options in front of my clients. • When including all the project factors, I pride myself on finding the best possible solution or course of action to be taken to reach the desired outcome. All in all, I have a passion for each project I contract to develop. I continually keep my learning up so that my skill set remains on top of this ever-changing field. The most enjoyable aspect of my profession is the multitude of different mediums available for a Multimedia Developer. My project’s open so many fascinating opportunities. Web, Film, Photography, and Print, all of which I have completely enjoyed mastering and participating in each type of medium.

Jeffrey Smith was outstanding as the graphic artist for my book, "Victorian Trade Cards of Wheeling." He was quick in working and his taste in creating each page was excellence! He always went out of his way to please and capture my passion for theses cards, He was very professional in his work. The job was done way ahead of schedule. Without a doubt I would highly recommend him !

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In the beginning, I work a steady job for 6 years and after work I would study Web Design and Best Practices. I then went back to college attending Belmont College to receive a degree in Interactive Multimedia Specialist. To stay up to date I read and learn from major websites that curtail to my areas of expertise. Microsoft and several other companies have excellent documentation for all their latest products. I also like keeping an eye on what other top designers are doing

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers needing all kinds of different projects completed. My most common types of jobs are Website design and Applications but my graphic work is outstanding, just check-out the book layout and design I did for "A Victorian Book Design”."

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I would have to say the project that I am the most proud of is the Victorian Book Design because I had to take a project that was already 5 years in the making (or hung-up) and sell a complete 360 degree turn in the concept to the owner. I do believe the concept of presenting the Trade Cards in a way that mimicked that era’s scrapbooks turned out great. It gives the customers buying the book a feel of grabbing some actual history instead of just another book.
