We have hired PropertyWorks repeatedly to do jobs ranging from small tasks to large. Chris fixed the plumbing on a pedestal sink that had been terribly damaged and was unusable. In a single afternoon, Chris corrected the problem, even when he had to alter his original solution when he found additional damage behind the wall. The site was left clean and ready to use, and we were so grateful. In a larger job, Chris tiled our master bath with travertine tile, creating a custom look that we are so pleased with. He has also done framing and drywalling for a house addition and custom carpentry in our entryway, as well as many other small tasks. Chris is honest, prices jobs fairly, and will keep you informed if he finds anything of concern. In addition, he is a genuine craftsman, working with a skill and level of excellence that is hard to find these days.Jun 10, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I use thumbtack as a point of contact with potential clients. I will not price or estimate work without seeing it in person. I meet with potential clients, an evaluation of their needs and project ideas happens and only then can I make an informed estimate based on in person evaluation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I set up a meeting and look at what they need done and give them a price based on what I can see and an estimate of the amount of time i think it will take.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Associate degrees in architectural construction technology and computer aided drafting as well as experience in the field working for a general contractor.
